Acid Arab (dj set)

Thanks to AkvaWaves, Budapest will once again welcome one of the most exciting acts on the international electronic music scene: Acid Arab will bring their DJ set to Akvárium Klub on 3 October 2026. Formed in Paris, the French-Algerian collective Acid Arab blends traditional Arabic musical styles with the raw energy of the original Parisian techno scene. Drawing on North African, Middle Eastern and Anatolian influences while incorporating house, techno and acid, the group has created a distinctive sound that has made them one of the defining acts of contemporary electronic music. Over the past years, Acid Arab has performed at clubs and festivals across more than fifty countries, earning a reputation for bridging cultures through dance music. In June 2026, the collective released their fourth album, Resonance, featuring fourteen guest artists from across the Arab music scene. Expanding their signature fusion of traditional influences and contemporary electronic music, the record marks another bold step in Acid Arab's ever-evolving sound.
