Minimus Audio Label Night vol. 6

As announced earlier, our series returns to Kassa on 11 September, and we're delighted to welcome back someone who has never really been a guest. Mastif has been part of our journey for years a friend, collaborator and one of the key figures behind Minimus Audio. Few artists have left such a lasting mark on the Hungarian drum & bass scene. Since the late '90s, Mastif has been there every step of the way, helping shape the country's underground culture both behind the decks and behind the scenes. His story began in Veszprém, where, together with his lifelong friend Size 9, he discovered drum & bass at the very moment the genre was taking hold in Hungary. Armed with a pair of turntables and an growing vinyl collection, they launched the Destroyerz parties before becoming core members of the legendary Bladerunnaz crew. Throughout the 2000s, the pair became known for uncompromising selections of darkstep and techstep, earning a reputation that reached well beyond Hungary. Following the tragic loss of Size 9, Mastif continued producing under the Troops of Doom name, released a string of original productions and became a familiar face at the infamous Hungarian Therapy Sessions events. As his unmistakable heavyweight sound gained momentum, international bookings soon followed. After stepping away from the spotlight for several years, Mastif returned in 2023 alongside Orlan to launch Minimus Audio, a platform built entirely on creative freedom. Since then, he's been firing on all cylinders, producing new music, developing the visual identity of Minimus Audio through Minimus Visual, and pushing the project into exciting new territory. On the night, he'll join Longman for an exclusive back to back vinyl set. Expect a journey through timeless drum & bass classics, carefully selected cuts from their record bags and, naturally, a few fresh Orlan & Rumli tracks as well. Both are widely respected for their impeccable mixing skills, making this a set not to be missed. Warming things up will be Vida L, delivering one of his trademark all vinyl selections, packed with hidden gems and unexpected twists. As always, arriving early will be well worth it. To close the night, Orlan takes over with a deeper, more minimal selection to see us through until the lights come on. To celebrate the start of the autumn season, we'll also be giving away a handful of exclusive T-shirts to some of the night's most dedicated dancers, alongside a few competitions in the lead-up to the event.
