We're writing November 20, 2026. The weather is indecently cold, but a good kind of tingle runs through the city. "Hey, cyborg! which way does it curve here to the Toldi?" - asked a bizarre, lizard-like figure fresh from the Danube Bend, arriving at the Western Railway Station. The inner-Budapest cyborg quite definitely raised his walking stick south, showing the way to the unusual, but lovely crew, who have already been through five Láposodás, eight Techlake, a pile of forest-edge illegals, a few Turbina-clubnights, a marathon Nomád run, all night long, all day long, Dürer-open air, Budafoki paper mill deals, Pontoon-like wonders and many other strange adventures. They've seen 12 (soon 13!) compilations take off, more than 20 EPs, and experienced the musical visions of 250+ artists. For techlab.bp's 7th (the first officially celebrated) birthday, sounds closest to the label are arriving from 7+1 friendly sources. Joining the local forces is Sioc, who is of English origin and from Berlin, who was already there two and a half years ago at our first independent Turbina club night, and also made it to Techlake this year, and his track featured on our third VA has been one of our most played tracks in the catalog ever since. // By the way, for the birthday, we will be opening portals to Rebel Beach, Nagymaros and Kerekhegy as well.
