We started ten years ago at one of the best spots in the city, right at the foot of the Chain Bridge, by the Danube on the Pest side – and ever since, we’ve been driven by the same thing: filling the riverbank with music, culture, and connections. Local heavyweights, international guests, emerging artists, returning and brand-new series – world music, electronic, live shows, DJ sets, headbanging or just a laid-back night. Every day of the week, for free. Pontoon has always been about being open to everyone. A lot has happened over the years: we moved onto a boat, then came back, kept evolving – but the core never changed. Hundreds of concerts and DJ sets every year, with the same energy. Sunsets over the Danube, city lights, music night after night, cold drinks, great food, familiar faces and new ones. A place you come back to every summer – and where we always pick up right where we left off.
